Designer Carrie Van Hise (1970) formed her career as a graphic designer at Corsair Studio in New York. During her seven years with the company she served as lead art director on B2B and consumer projects in the areas of brand identity and corporate communications. In 2001 she relocated to Barcelona and started a design studio specializing in integrated brand systems and communications. Today she works as an independent art director and designer collaborating on international projects in a broad range of mediums.
In 2005 Carrie ventured into the world of product with a line of specialty journals carried by Vinçon in Barcelona and the Centre Pompidou in Paris. The experience has led to a recently launched concept of limited edition series.
Behind every collection is a passion for detail. It is the driving element throughout the creative process; from the presentation to the packaging, from the materials to the graphics. The intention is to create timeless products not dictated by trends, seasons or markets. The choice of products is inspired by personal experiences, cinema, the arts...This first series of silk scarves is inspired by Audrey Hepburn, elegant and surprisingly bold at the same time. The idea is not to reinvent the wheel, but rethink everyday objects adding a unique voice and style.
