PROJECTS

Carrie Van Hise has a diverse creative background including a collaboration with the Spanish fashion house Pertegaz as artistic director, accessory and textile design, wallpaper collections, art direction of image campaigns as well as brand identity programs for international brands.

This is a brief selection of projects accomplished during her twenty-five years living in New York and Barcelona.

While collaborating with Pertegaz as Creative director I defined the brand codes and created a visual language for the Spanish brand founded by Manuel Pertegaz in 1942. This collaboration with Tres Tintas Barcelona was born out of my fascination with typography. I designed the collection exclusively with numbers in the Bodoni typeface. The patterns take the numbers out of context and focus on the beauty of their form.
